Our team has dedicated countless hours to perfecting our platform in order to provide the ultimate dining experience for both residents and visitors of the sunshine state. Our criteria is stringent, allowing only ONE business per category, per city at a time.* This means that while your company holds the crown, there is no competition and you will be awarded as the best of the best in Florida.
HOW DOES A RESTAURANT OR FOOD TRUCK QUALIFY TO WIN THE CROWN:
Restaurants in the Florida Food & Dining Guide will compete to wear the crown for categories such as; the most unique burger, perfectly seared steak, the best meatloaf, chocolate ice cream, home-made pie, BBQ sauce, crab rangoons, deep dish pizza, chicken wings, and street tacos. If it's on a menu, we are on a mission to find the best version and reveal it to the residents and visitors of the sunshine state. Hence, Best Places to Eat in Florida. However, to be considered one of best places to eat in Florida and to wear the crown, you must be a member of the Florida Food & Dining Guide.
WHAT IS THE FLORIDA FOOD & DINING GUIDE:
The Florida Food & Dining Guide is a part of the Florida Business Directory and has been a staple in the sunshine state since 2005. Members pay annually to receive a full page business listing with unlimited category placements and year round promotion through local and statewide advertising and marketing campaigns. HOW DOES A RESTAURANT OR FOOD TRUCK WIN:
Each month we will focus on a different "category" of food. Italian, Asian, Seafood, Etc. Within that month, the residents and visitors of the sunshine state will scramble to compete in the "Savor the Sunshine State" challenge and have an opportunity to try new restaurants while winning a ton of cash and prizes. The winners of the "Savor the Sunshine State" challenge will then be added to the " Best Places to Eat " directory and remain there until someone takes their crown.
WHO GETS TO WEAR THE CROWN FIRST:
Our staff will choose members from the Florida Food & Dining Guide to start the challenge. This will be on a first come, first serve basis so if you're asked to participate, don't waste anytime and join immediately. Being featured in our guide means that your business has met our high standards and is recognized as a top contender in the Florida food scene. *Once the challenge begins, you will be locked in for the first quarter - meaning no other company can take your crown - for at least three months. Keeping the crown will be based on numerous factors including customer interaction, reviews and winning the 2025 "Savor the Sunshine State" challenge.

Florida Food & Dining Membership Options
*Gift cards given as part of your membership dues will be split up into $25 increments and used for prizes over a 12 month period in the "Savor the Sunshine State" challenge.
*Our criteria is stringent, allowing only ONE business per category, per city at a time. ( based on 68,000 residents ) Check the population of your city now.
*Once the challenge begins, you will be locked in for the first year - meaning no other company can take your crown - for at least twelve months. ( as long as your membership in the Florida Food & Dining Guide is paid and current. )
