If you answered YES to all of the questions above, WELCOME to the "Savor the Sunshine State Challenge!
- There are over 40,0000 restaurants in Florida but not all are created equal. Our sister site, the Florida Food & Dining Guide has over 20 years experience in promoting the most popular restaurants in the sunshine state - however, only one can wear the crown. We are looking for the best of the best. Hence the creation of this website, Best Places to Eat in Florida. This is where you come in.
Accept the Challenge:
Visit the Florida Food & Dining Guide
- Each week we will post a new category on our website and social media accounts.
- You must dine at a participating restaurant in the Florida Food & Dining Guide during the posted dates.
- You must spend atleast $10 at a participating restaurants (this can include a tip) during the posted dates.
- Send us proof with a photo of yourself with the receipt and include the date and time.
- Email us the proof to allaboutthesunshinestate@gmail.com
- You can text us instead if you'd like @ 863-937-9676
- You may enter numerous times within each week - but only once per participating restaurant.
- Drawings will be held weekly for cash & prizes.
- We will also hold monthly and quarterly prizes as well.

All You Can Eat - Asian - Best Birthday Deals - BBQ - Cajun & Creole - Catering - Coffee Shops & Bars - Diners, Bistros & Delis - Farms - Fast Food - Fine Dining - Food Trucks - German - Greek - Italian - Kids Eat Free - Latin Food - Local Growers - Pet Friendly Dining Options - Seafood - Southern - Sports Bars - Sweets N Treats - Vegan & Organic, and Waterfront Dining.
Rules & FAQ's
- You are allowed unlimited entries per week. However, you can only submit one receipt per participating restaurant during the posted dates.
- For example: this week it's seafood. You can go to three different seafood restaurants in a week but you can't go to the same restaurant three times.
- You must send us proof by email - eat@bestplacestoeatinflorida.com - or by text: 863-937-9676 - within the posted dates.
- Your proof must include a picture of you, your receipt and we must be able to make out the date.
- Each week we will hold a drawing for weekly cash and prizes.
- We will hold a tournament for everyone who has atleast 67 entries by December 1st 2025 for a drawing for $1,000!
